    Musical Theater & Drama Club

    Instructor: Jackson Murray

    Cost: $125

    Grades: 3rd-5th (TUES &FRI)

Musical Theater and Drama Club is a fall AND spring Comet Club commitment to be able to perform in Little Mermaid Jr. (Broadway Jr. show) at the end of March. $125 registration will be paid in the fall and again in the spring.

Calling all drama kids! This year we will be putting on “The Little Mermaid Jr.” Let’s go under the sea to explore the ocean and tell the story of Ariel and her majestic friends. All students that are in the club with have an active part in the development, design, and performance of the show! It is a great opportunity to immerse our students into the world of music and theater in a community way. Parents are also invited to volunteer to help the club with props, costumes, and stage design! Mr. Murray is eager to share his talents with our students through the theater and music.

All the practice leads up to four performances of “The Little Mermaid Jr.” in the spring, two for Keheley students and two for parents and families to attend.

This club is open to students in grades 3-5 and meets all year long. Broadway Jr. shows are amazing opportunities offered by the Musical Theater Institute (MTI). They take time and energy in a way most cubs do not. With this, Musical Theater club requires a year-long commitment.

The club will meet on Fridays after school until 3:45pm during the fall semester. In the Spring we will meet on Tuesdays AND Fridays after school until 3:45

In addition to our Comet Clubs we also have several after school clubs serving Keheley Elementary School this year. Check these clubs out happening on Tuesdays and Fridays!
